Kundalini yoga

In Kundalini yoga, the focus is on the power of visualization, a good concentration, breathing exercises (Pranayama) and a better understanding of the chakra system.

Kundalini yoga is a practical scheme to come back to the source. Out of ignorance, we search for happiness outside, when it is already within us.

With time and different practices, we learn to bring our attention to the dormant hidden energy lying in our first chakra: the Kundalini shakti. Once that female energy rises to the crown of the head, it meets the male energy of Shiva in a full expression of union and bliss, resulting in the experience of peace and clarity.

We prepare and clean the body with the Asana practice. In that way the body becomes a friend. It feels soft and at ease while sitting for long periods of time in a crossed leg position in meditation. Kundalini Yoga is a more Lunar and Yin form of yoga.
